Personal Summary

I started as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Numerical Terradynamic Simulation Group (NTSG) in August 2019. I maintain the Level-4 Carbon (L4C) earth system model--a global model of the carbon balance in plants and soil and its response to changes in moisture and temperature--for NASA's Soil Moisture Active/Passive (SMAP) mission. I also investigate science applications for the L4C data products related to global and regional water and energy cycles. I'm available as a mentor to Univ. of Montana students in scientific computing, statistical inference, remote sensing, or environmental science.
